Did he eventually swim in any events? That's awesome that he's so brave! Hope some of his collegues support him later on by attending charity events related to cancer.
So if he was ugly would that have made it less sad? It's sad when anyone gets cancer...it's just good that he's not down in the dumps about it and he's gonna fight it hard.

omg i know! i met him in the auburn swimming box at fina in '04, and he was so nice. i dont remember it very well, but my dad says he was great about taking care of me and stuff. hes very caring.
